Training classes on the topic "Methods to overcome stress during the preparation of the NMT".

This is the end of another rather difficult school year during the war, a year of disappointments and accomplishments, joy and sadness, laughter and tears, endurance, faith, hope and optimism...

One of the most responsible and difficult stages is ahead for pupils of general educational institutions. This is the day when all the years of study are summed up. After all, today the path to admission to a higher education institution is through the passing of a national multi-subject test, which is why it is so important for graduates. Its result will depend not only on how much energy a person spends on achieving it, but also on how psychologically prepared he is for these tests, and how much others help and support him in achieving his goal.

Everyone knows the fact that the effectiveness of mental activity is largely influenced by the emotional state in which a person is. And the biggest problem in the test-taking situation is our anxiety. The hormone released at the moment when a person feels fear affects memory, attention, perception... This may be the reason why some students completely forget the studied material during exams.

During the week, practical psychologist Olha PROKOPOVA, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training of the Khmelnytsky region, in all 11th grades, conducted training sessions on the topic "Ways of overcoming stress during the preparation of NMT". During work with lyceum students, basic exercises and techniques for overcoming anxiety and stress were practiced, which they will be able to apply during the preparation of the NMT. During the class, the pupils passed the diagnostic test "Determining the degree of susceptibility to stress" (for self-control)

Lyceum students! Remember that how successful and productive the period of preparation and testing will be depends only on you. It is worth realizing that anxiety in this situation is normal and natural. After all, the point is not in what happened (not in the event itself), but in how you perceive it. You need to be able to distinguish failure from disaster. And most importantly: tune in to the positive and believe that everything will work out! If you believe in success, it will surely come, because everything depends only on you.

Psychological advice for graduates: note "Setting up for success".

  1. The whole world is in front of you and you have a chance to choose your path! Make the most of this chance!
  2. Be confident in yourself and your abilities! A low estimate of oneself and one's knowledge is the path to failures, conflicts and disappointments in life.
  3. Help each other, support each other!
  4. Remember that you are surrounded by loving and caring people: parents, teachers, educators, friends!
  5. Feel confident that you can defend yourself and your safety, realize yourself as a person who chooses the path of life and is responsible for your life!
  6. Be aware of yourself as a person who chooses your own life path and is responsible for your own success.
  7. Set realistic, concrete goals that you can achieve.
  8. Learn to plan your work. Do not put off "for later".
  9. Repeat to yourself: "I have strength, energy, good mood. I am confident in myself. I am active and ready for action. Everything will work out for me."
  10. Say to yourself: "I will do it!" Setting yourself up for success ensures luck!
