The rights and duties of lyceum students are determined by legislation and the statute of the lyceum.

The high school student has the right:

  • for quality educational services;
  • for a fair and objective assessment of learning outcomes;
  • to celebrate success in one's activity;
  • for freedom of creative, sports, health, cultural, educational, scientific and scientific and technical activities, etc.;
  • on the availability and free of charge of full general secondary education; choose study profiles, extracurricular activities;
  • create bodies of student self-government;
  • to use the library, educational, scientific, material and technical, cultural and sports, household facilities of the lyceum;
  • for access to information resources and communications used in the educational process and scientific activity;
  • participate in research, experimental, design and other types of scientific and practical activities, conferences, Olympiads, exhibitions, competitions;
  • personally or through their representatives to participate in the public self-government of the lyceum;
  • adjust the semester score;
  • participate in the discussion of conditions and make own proposals regarding the organization of the educational process, leisure time; participate in voluntary amateur associations, creative studios, clubs, circles, interest groups, etc.;
  • to respect human dignity;
  • to protect against any form of exploitation, mental and physical violence, against the actions of the chief, deputy chief, teaching and other employees who violate the rights or humiliate their honor and dignity;
  • to receive social and psychological-pedagogical services as a person who suffered from bullying (harassment), witnessed it or committed bullying (harassment);
  • for safe and harmless conditions of study and work;
  • choose an institution of higher education in which you would like to study, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
  • for other necessary conditions for obtaining an education, including for persons with special educational needs and from socially vulnerable population groups.

The high school student is obliged to:

  • fulfill the requirements of the educational program (individual curriculum if available), adhering to the principle of academic integrity, and achieve the learning outcomes provided for by the education standard for the appropriate level of education;
  • respect the dignity, rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of all participants in the educational process, adhere to ethical standards; to treat one's own health, the health of others, and the environment responsibly and carefully;
  • obey founding documents, rules of the internal procedure of the educational institution;
  • notify the management of the educational institution about the facts of bullying (harassment) in relation to students of education, pedagogic, scientific-pedagogical, scientific workers, other persons who are involved in the educational process, which they personally witnessed or about which they received reliable information from other persons;
  • persistently study military affairs and prepare yourself for military service in order to honorably and skillfully defend the independent Ukrainian state and fulfill your official duties;
  • be disciplined, honest, neat, know the requirements of the Statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, moral norms and fulfill them conscientiously;
  • observe the rules of military courtesy;
  • to cherish the honor of the Lyceum, the glory and combat traditions of the Ukrainian army.

Lyceum students also have other rights and obligations provided for by legislation and the constituent documents of the lyceum.
