Raising the flag of the lyceum

The tradition of raising the national flag of Ukraine

The tradition of raising (lowering) the State Flag of Ukraine is implemented for the development of military traditions, the formation of high patriotic consciousness, pride and respect for the state symbols of Ukraine and military rituals in the staff of the Lyceum.

The procedure for carrying out the tradition of raising (lowering) the Flag of Ukraine

1. At the beginning of the working week (every Monday), the Flag is raised in the morning (8:20 a.m.) during the general line-up of the lyceum staff.
2. The raising of the Flag is accompanied by the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine by the personnel.
3. To carry out the tradition of raising (lowering) the Flag, a group consisting of three lyceum students (from each division) who have shown high results in studies, sports and discipline is appointed.
4. For raising (lowering) the Flag, the command is given: "Strunko! The State Flag of Ukraine - Raise it!".
5. The orchestra plays the National Anthem of Ukraine (in the absence of the orchestra, the use of the soundtrack is allowed). The staff sings the National Anthem of Ukraine.
6. Lyceum students slowly raise the Flag. The flag is raised with smooth movements.
