Dear Lyceum family!

Every year on the third Thursday of May, the World Embroidery Day is celebrated - a holiday designed to preserve and multiply ancient Ukrainian traditions. This is a connection of generations that forms high patriotic feelings in the heart of every ordinary Ukrainian. The whole world is in love with Ukrainian embroidery, this day is supported in more than 50 countries. However, for our people, embroidered clothing is the memory of generations, the courage and bravery of our heroes, the love, tenderness and prayer of our mothers, it is respect and honor for one's culture.

Today is a special day precisely because now Ukrainians are united like never before! We are united by a common desire for Victory! For the third year, we celebrate Vyshyvanka Day in a state of war, because the Russian enemy stole our peace, but he will never steal our dream, aspiration, desire that unites us all - to live in a free, cathedral, independent country. A country in which freedom, honor, respect, rights, and dignity are the most important values. And today, the voices of millions of Ukrainians merged into a single voice of the nation, which the whole world hears... I am convinced that the colorful colors of embroidered clothes will erase all borders, uniting and uniting Ukrainians all over the planet.

So I congratulate everyone on this wonderful holiday and wish all of us a speedy Victory and the restoration of peace for the sake of the memory of our ancestors, for the sake of the happy future of our children!

Let the embroidered shirt become a talisman, a symbol of spirituality and unity for all defenders of the Motherland and for all Ukrainians, wherever they are!
