XVIII Regional Forum "Book Spring in Khmelnytskyi Region"
On April 22, lyceum students joined the event of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Universal Scientific Library online. As part of the XVIII Regional Forum "Book Spring in Khmelnytskyi Region" to World Book and Copyright Day, a bibliographic index "Heroes of Ukraine - participants in the Russian-Ukrainian War: Khmelnytskyi Region" was presented.
The following were invited to the event: Dmytro Chavalakh - Hero of Ukraine, a native of Yarmolintsi village; parents of Hero of Ukraine Ivan Zubkov, Antonina Petrivna and Ivan Ivanovych from Derazhna; the mother of the Hero of Ukraine, Dmytro Kramar, Mrs. Natalya and his wife, Tetyana, from the village of Guards; wife of the Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Vasiliev Iryna.
Editor of the edition, chief bibliographer of the local history department, Oksana Shein, spoke about the structure of the index, named the names and exploits of the soldiers included in the edition, presented a video about Heroes of Ukraine - participants in the Russian-Ukrainian war from Khmelnytskyi region. This index also includes a graduate of our Lyceum Hero of Ukraine (posthumously) Ukrainian Vladyslav, who died on the first day of the full-scale invasion on the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Dmytro Chavalakh shared his memories of the combat mission, the rehabilitation period during the occupation in the Kherson region and moving to the controlled territory of Ukraine, answered the questions of the audience.
Antonina Zubkova, Ivan Zubkov's mother, spoke about her son's childhood and youth, described his feat during the defense of the Donetsk airport, recalled the process of identifying the body and thanked for honoring her son's memory . Patriotic songs were performed by the father of the Hero of Ukraine, Ivan Ivanovich.
Poet, member of the National Union of Writers and Journalists of Ukraine Lidia Yarokhno from Starokostyantynov read her poems dedicated to the memory of cyborgs.
Dmytro Kramar's first teacher, Svitlana Gandzhuk from the village of Gvardiyske, shared her memories of her student and showed a video series of photos from his school life.
