The highest legislative body of student self-government is the Lyceum Parliament. The activities of the Lyceum Parliament are aimed at developing the initiative, discipline, and citizenship of the lyceum students in accordance with the satisfaction of their needs and interests.
Regulations on the Lyceum Parliament
I. General provisions
1. Parliament of the lyceum – the highest executive body of student self-government, whose work is aimed at developing the initiative, discipline, civic dignity of the lyceum students in accordance with the satisfaction their needs and interests.
2. Members of Parliament are elected by general meetings of personnel of platoons (classes) by open voting.
3. Each platoon (class) has the right to nominate 2 (two) lyceum students to the parliament.
II. Structure of the Parliament.
1. The parliament of the lyceum consists of 28 people: the chairman of the parliament, his deputy and members of the departments.
2. The deputy chairman of the PL is elected from the members of the parliament at the organizational meeting by open voting. And heads of departments.
3. The Parliament includes the following departments:
- education department;
- disciplinary department;
- department of sports;
- department of culture;
- economic department;
- press department.
III. Chairman of the Lyceum Parliament.
1. The head of the PL is the head of the student body and speaks on its name.
2. Head of PL:
- submits to the PL for consideration the issues that concern the pupils of the lyceum;
- has the right to participate in the work of pedagogical councils;
- has the right to initiate changes that improve learning and leisurelyceum students;< /li>
- has the right to vote when deciding on the further stay ofstudents at the lyceum;< /li>
- has the right, with the consent of PL members, to award pupils of thelyceum with diplomas and announce thanks for the initiative and diligence and conscientious performance of one's duties;
- calls regular meetings of the PL;
- participates in the work of the commission for the protection of children's rights;
- organizes student self-government days at the lyceum;
- does not have the right to transfer his powers to other persons;
- coordinates the activities of PL departments;
- has the right to "veto" decisions of the PL.
3. Powers of the head of the PL. They are terminated in case of:
- resignations;
- impossibility to fulfill your powers due to health;
- removal from office by impeachment;
- graduation from the lyceum.
4. The head of the PL can be removed by impeachment. The question of removal of the head of the PL from the post is initiated by the majority (50% +1) of the parliament.
IV. Powers of members of parliament.
1. The deputy chairman of the PL carries out work to activate the activities of departments, monitors the implementation of decisions of the PL. In the absence of the head of the PL, he performs his duties.
2. The head of the department reports at least once a month at a PL meeting. Systematically carries out the work and submits it to the deputy
head of the PL information on the progress of implementation. Plans the work of the department.
3. The Department of Education creates mutual assistance centers, promotes increasing the level of knowledge of lyceum students through self-education systematically checks the completion of written homework, < span class="fontstyle2">holds contests for the best notebook.
4. The Disciplinary Department monitors attendance at lessons, wearing uniforms, compliance with statutory rules behavior, carries out anti-tobacco, anti-alcohol, anti-drug preventive work.
5. The Department of Sports promotes sports events, coordinates the work of platoon sportsmen, initiates sports competitions among lyceum platoons. Members of the department can act as referees during competitions.
6. The Department of Culture carries out active work on the involvement of lyceum students in cultural and mass events, coordinates the work of platoons on issues of organizing and conducting leisure activities, promotes meetings with interesting people, relaxing evenings with other educational institutions of the city.
7. The economic department conducts active work among lyceum students to increase the material base by conducting various economic events.
8. The press department coordinates the work of the editors of the battle sheets, the editorial board of the wall newspapers and is responsible for the publication of the lyceum newspaper "Leader", promotes the dissemination of lyceum news on the website of the educational institution.
V. Deprivation of membership in PL.
1. A PL member may be deprived of his mandate in case of:
- unsystematic performance of duties by a member of the PL;
- violation of the rules of conduct and the Code of Honor of the lyceum;
- moving to another city or transferring to another school;
2. In case of deprivation of membership in PL, lyceum students must elect a new member no later than 1 month from the time of exclusion.
VI. Final provisions.
1. The provision can be changed at the initiative of the general lyceum assembly, if at least 2/3 of all participants vote for it.
2. The head of the lyceum appoints a teacher-organizer consultant PL from the administration, who has the right of an advisory vote and helps members of parliament in solving their problems.
