An integral part of the educational work of the lyceum is the work of student self-government bodies. Important conditions for the fruitful activity of student self-government are:
- students' and asset's understanding of tasks, content and essence of self-government;
- the ability to independently plan, organize work, coordinate the efforts of various branches of self-government, constantly exercise self-control.
The development of student self-government contributes to the spiritual growth and development of students' organizational abilities. Democracy in student self-government depends on the position of adults. The main means of improving pedagogical assistance to student self-government are:
- ensuring real rights and obligations of self-government bodies;
- increasing the trust of teachers in the decisions of the student body, its self-government bodies;
- qualified, tactful assistance;
- targeted training of students in the difficult task of organizing the life of the student body, managing the affairs of the lyceum.
Regulations on the election of the chairman of the Lyceum Parliament, chairman of the Court of Honor of lyceum students and members of the Lyceum Parliament
I. General provisions.
1. The chairman of the lyceum parliament and the chairman of the Court of honor of lyceum students are elected by the lyceum students on the basis of universal, equal and direct suffrage by secret ballot.
2. All lyceum pupils have the right to vote in elections.
3. Lyceum students' participation in elections is voluntary. No one can be forced to participate or not participate in elections.
4. Each voter votes in the elections personally. Voting for other persons, as well as transferring the right to vote by the voter to any other person, is prohibited.
5. The right to nominate a candidate for the post of chairman of the Lyceum Parliament belongs to the general meeting of the platoon (class) personnel.
6. Each platoon (class) can nominate only one candidate for the post of chairman of the Lyceum Parliament.
7. The right to nominate a candidate for the post of chairman of the Court of Honor of lyceum students belongs to the general meeting of the personnel of the platoons (classes) of the second year.
8. Each platoon (class) of the second year can nominate only one candidate for the post of chairman of the Honor Court of lyceums.
9. The parliament of the lyceum is formed by nominating candidates, which are approved by the decision of the general meeting of the platoon (class). Each platoon (class) delegates only two pupils to the parliament.
II. Organization and conduct of elections.
1. The electoral process includes the following stages:
- creation of the Central Election Commission (CEC) by nominating one lyceum graduate from each platoon (class) of the lyceum;
- establishment of the Institute of Public Opinion (IPI) - the main observer of events, by nominating one lyceum graduate from each platoon (class) of the lyceum;< /span>
- creating a polling station;
- nomination and registration of candidates;
- formation of voter lists;
- conducting pre-election campaigning;
- voting on election day;
- counting votes and establishing election results;
- official publication of the election results by the CEC.
2. Central Election Commission:
- compiles voter lists;
- establishes the form of ballot papers;
- registers candidates;
- determines election results and announces them.
3. Institute of Public Opinion provides:
- issue of program newspapers;
- issue of advertising campaign leaflets;
- meetings of candidates with voters;
- studying the rating of candidates during the election campaign.
III. Pre-election campaign.
1. A lyceum student who is registered as a candidate has the right to campaign.
2. A candidate with the help of a support group:
- must release a promotional poster with your own photo;
- prepare a pre-election program of no more than 1 page of text;
- may carry out other campaign activities;
- carry out campaign work during breaks and after-school hours.
3. Lyceum students have the right to freely and comprehensively discuss the pre-election programs of the candidates.
4. The distribution of knowingly false information about the candidate is prohibited.
IV. Election results.
1. Elections are considered to have taken place if 75% of the lyceum students participated in them.
2. The announcement of the election of the chairman of the Lyceum Parliament and the chairman of the Court of Honor of lyceum students is announced by the head of the CEC at the general line-up of the lyceum staff.
3. The chairman of the parliament of the lyceum and the chairman of the Court of honor of lyceum students are presented with a corresponding certificate.
4. The candidate for whom the majority of lyceum students who participated in the voting voted is considered elected.
5. If the candidates have the same number of votes, a repeat election is held.
